Why Nigerians Should stop Attacking Eucharia for speaking Against Indecent Dressing Among Women

Actress Eucharia Anunobi is a Nigerian actress and producer. Aside from being a Nollywood actress, she is also a speaker. The 56-year-old woman is undoubted, one of the most successful Nollywood actors.

The actress came under fire after she sent a message to women who expose their bodies both online and offline.

She was heavily criticized by Nigerians on different social medial platforms on Saturday, 13 November, for cautioning women who leave their breasts and private parts exposed while posing for the camera

Torixus reported that the pastor posted a video on her Instagram page, showing when she was highlighting the qualities that make a woman while aiming that those who expose their bodies are dirty. 

Her statement caused mixed reactions online, as some netizens were seen attacking the actress.

However, in my opinion, I think Nigerians should stop attacking Eucharia for her statement. here are my reasons;

The actress, as a pastor, has every right to speak against indecent dressing both online and offline.

Christian preachers are known for condemning indecent dressing and that's why the actress shouldn't be criticized for joining others in tackling indecency. 

Another reason why Nigerians should stop the actress is that she is a mother. like a typical Nigerian mother, the actress is playing her role not just as a mother to her children but for thousands who are following her on different social media platforms.

Meanwhile, in a society where freedom of decision is respected, no one has the right to stop someone from wearing what he or she wasn't to wear, but as Nigerian people rooted in culture and tradition, it is not right to expose one's body especially in public.
